-Description-

Hamlet is a tragedy play written by William Shakespeare in the early 17th century. It tells the story of Prince Hamlet who seeks to avenge the murder of his father, King Hamlet, at the hands of his uncle, King Claudius, who has taken the throne and married Hamlet's mother, Queen Gertrude. Hamlet feigns madness to investigate the truth and confront his father's killer. Ophelia, daughter of the king's advisor, Polonius, is caught between her loyalty to her family and her love for Hamlet. As the events of the play unfold, Ophelia becomes increasingly disturbed by the behavior of both Hamlet and her father, leading to her eventual descent into madness. The play ends with a dramatic showdown, resulting in the death of several main characters. The themes of the play include revenge, corruption, mortality, and the complexity of human emotions and relationships.
